Welcome to Kettle Flame Games
Pull up a chair. Here's who we are, why we picked the name, and what we're brewing.
Hey there, and welcome. Whether you came looking for your next favourite game or just wandered in, we're really glad you're here. Pull up a chair, and let us tell you what we're all about.
Why we're here
Games got pricier and lost their charm. Somewhere along the way, a lot of them started asking for more of your money and more of your time while giving back less of the fun.
We want to do the opposite. We make small, satisfying games at fair prices, with real personality and no bloated grind that feels like work. We want every one of them to be the kind of game the whole friend group enjoys and can't stop talking about.
Why “Kettle Flame”?
A kettle over a flame is one of the simplest, warmest things there is: a little heat, a little patience, and something good to share at the end. That's how we want our games to feel. The name is inspired by a favourite story of ours, where the best moments happen over a cup of tea.
What we care about
- Worth every dollar. Our prices are fair, and every game delivers what its store page promises.
- Fun, not filler. If a feature feels like work, we cut it. No padding, no chores, no grinding for the sake of it.
- Better together. We make games the whole friend group enjoys and wants to talk about, and we look after the community where those friendships grow.
- Charm over checklists. We'd rather make a game with real personality that some people love than a bland one built to please everyone.
- Straight talk. Honest updates, clear prices and no surprises.
What we're brewing
Our first game, Sore Losers, is coming soon to Steam. It's still early in development, but we're planning an online multiplayer first-person shooter for up to four players. There's more to come with the full reveal of the new version of the game. Until then, a wishlist on Steam helps more than you'd think.
Come say hello
The best place to find us is our Discord. That's where the playtests, devlogs and good company are. You can also sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of any page. We keep it to a few emails a year.
Thanks for being here. The kettle's on.
